Rydges Hotels & Resorts in North Sydney seeks a passionate Bartender to join our team. Deliver high-end beverage service, build rapport with guests and maintain product knowledge and accuracy in a fast-paced hotel environment.

RSA certification is required. You will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, collaborate with colleagues across venues and help ensure exceptional guest experiences at EVT properties.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a bar/restaurant/hotel setting.
• Proven knowledge of beverages including wine/cocktails (training provided).
• RSA certification required (vailed).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain grooming and a clean, safe bar area.
• Deliver high-quality beverage service and adhere to hygiene procedures.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and proper prep/dispensing standards.
• Complete opening/closing and cashiering duties accurately.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Bartender to join the team, with a passion for working behind the bar and a love of delivering service with flair and personality. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment and takes pride in their, product knowledge, and ability to engage with a diverse clientele.

Skills & Experience

• 1 - 2 years of experience working in a similar restaurant, hotel or bar environment.
• Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
• Personable, enjoy working in a busy environment and engaging with guests.
• Good communication, a team player and attention to detail.
• Adaptable and the ability to multi-task and anticipate the guests needs.
• Enjoy working in a hotel environment and have flexibility to support different outlets.
• Hold a vailed RSA.

• Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while adhering to all operational, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and comply with all preparation and dispensing standards.
• Complete all opening, closing, and cashiering duties accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in all required training sessions to continuously improve service and product knowledge.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
