Job summary

Hyde Melbourne Place in Melbourne is seeking a bartender to support bar operations in a fast-paced, premium venue. You will be preparing a wide range of beverages, delivering exceptional service, and maintaining a clean, well-organised bar.

The role requires at least 1 year of cocktail experience, strong product knowledge, and a guest-focused approach. Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cocktail bartender in a high-volume or premium venue.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktails and bar techniques.
• Confident, engaging interpersonal skills with guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and flair.
• Engage with guests in a warm, confident, and attentive manner to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Set up and pack down the bar each shift, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and stock readiness.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory and reporting low stock or supply needs.
• Stay current with bar trends, seasonal offerings and signature cocktails.

Job Description

We're looking for a bartender to support bar operations in Mr Mills and Marmelo. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity and service are always the focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and flair.
• Engage with guests in a warm, confident, and attentive manner to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Set up and pack down the bar each shift, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and stock readiness.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in cocktail menu development is a bonus
• Current Victorian RSA Certificate
