Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a bartender in a busy bar, restaurant, hotel or premium hospitality venue.
• A current Victorian RSA certificate.
• Strong cocktail-making skills and knowledge of spirits, beer, wine and beverages service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence working independently and managing a bar during busy service periods.

About the Role

As an experienced Bartender at The Golf Sanctuary, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, energetic and premium hospitality experience for our guests.

• Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
• Demonstrating strong cocktail-making skills, including knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with members and guests.
• Managing bar operations efficiently during busy periods, corporate functions and private events.

• Ensuring compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue procedures.
• Working collaboratively with our food and beverage team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

About You

We're seeking someone who brings professionalism, personality and genuine hospitality experience to the role.

To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working as a bartender in a busy bar, restaurant, hotel or premium hospitality venue.
• Strong cocktail-making skills and a sound understanding of spirits, beer, wine and beverage service.
• A current Victorian RSA certificate.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence working independently and managing a bar during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• A reliable, proactive attitude and a strong team-oriented approach.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Highly regarded

• Experience in premium cocktail bars, hotels or high-volume hospitality venues.
• Cocktail development and beverage menu experience.
• Experience with stock control, ordering and inventory management.
• Previous experience using Square POS.
• Experience serving corporate events and private functions.
• An interest in golf, sport or entertainment (not essential).
