Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking a skilled Barista for the NSW Pool across multiple sites. You will craft a range of coffees, calibrate grinders, and ensure stock levels are maintained while keeping your workspace clean and compliant with safety standards.

The role offers flexible casual shifts and the opportunity to learn from experienced hospitality professionals across different venues, with on-site service and a strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Barista qualifications mandatory.
• Minimum requirement to obtain or hold an RSA and police checks.

Responsibilities

• Create a variety of coffees with proper brewing methods and grind adjustments.
• Maintain speed, efficiency and quality, adjusting machine and grinder settings as needed.
• Maintain coffee stocks and keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Clean, maintain and perform daily setup and shutdown of coffee machines.

The Compass Group Casual Pool team are currently recruiting a Barista for our NSW POOL:

THE POSITION

• Utilise your solid understanding of coffee, brewing methods and grind adjustment to create a variety of coffees.
• Speed, efficiency and A+ quality is vital as is the ability to set, adjust, correct machine and grinder settings.
• Maintain coffee stocks and ensure your space is clean.
• Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and daily step down of machine.

THE PERSON

• Excellent communication, with superior customer service skills.
• We’re after an experienced Barista who is comfortable producing high-quality consistent coffees, with speed!
• Barista Qualifications mandatory.
• Currently hold or be willing to obtain a National Police check, Working with children’s check and an RSA.
