Qualifications

• Experience in café, catering or hospitality is required.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Attention to detail and strong customer service.
• Barista accreditation preferred; hygiene certificates required.
• National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Support volunteer engagement and program implementation
• Communicate with Café Manager on operational needs, customer feedback, and suppliers
• Offer exceptional customer service producing high-quality food and beverages
• Adhere to all food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of the cafe dining and kitchen spaces
• Maintain operational protocols within the cafe
• Simple preparation and presentation of food and beverages
• Reheat and cool food to the correct temperature
• Make coffee when required
