Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Ninja Parc Newcastle venue is seeking a cafe crew member with top-tier customer service skills. You will deliver first-class beverage service, handle casual food prep, and maintain a welcoming cafe environment for patrons attending Ninja Parc activities.

The role requires mornings, evenings and weekend availability, with flexible hours during peak periods. Prior coffee experience is preferred, and candidates will engage in Kiosk sales and party food prep for Ninja Parc

Qualifications

• Coffee making and barista skills preferred.
• Kiosk sales and basic food prep for events.
• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Police Check and Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality coffee and full range of cafe beverages.

Provide excellent customer service to all patrons while maintaining the appearance and presentation of the cafe.

The Role

Our cafe crew need to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of our cafe crew is to deliver first class services to our patrons ensuring it’s in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Produce high quality coffee and full range of cafe beverages
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Ability to produce high quality food
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cash handling and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the venue's peak periods

You will NOT be required to hold food handling qualifications - experience making coffee preferred. Kiosk sales as well as food prep such as toasties, plus making sandwiches / hot dogs etc for Ninja Parc birthday parties
