EVT Group’s Sails Port Macquarie location is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead the bar team, showcase cocktail mixology, and deliver a memorable guest experience. You’ll manage service behind the bar, train staff, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere with strong communication and adaptability during every shift.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a Bar Supervisor in hotels, bars or restaurants.
• Experience managing and training teams; fosters a strong guest experience.
• Proven knowledge of beverages with a strong cocktail mixology background.
• Warm, friendly and approachable demeanor with guests.
• Excellent communication; flexible and adaptable to hotel needs.
• Ability to anticipate guests’ needs and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team and run daily operations behind the bar.
• Manage and train staff to maintain a high guest experience.
• Show expertise in a wide range of cocktails and beverages.
• Engage guests with a welcoming, energetic presence.
• Communicate clearly and adapt to hotel requirements.
• Read the room and adjust service to keep shifts running smoothly.
