Job summary

EVT Group's Rydges North Sydney is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead the bar team, deliver exceptional beverage experiences, and drive consistent service. You will manage shifts, mentor staff, and bring strong cocktail mixology knowledge.

You'll be warm, engaging, and quick on your feet, reading the room to keep shifts running smoothly and guest satisfaction high. This role offers growth across EVT's hotel and entertainment network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a Bar Supervisor in hotels, bars, or restaurants.
• Experience training and leading teams to drive guest experience.
• Proven knowledge of a range of beverage items, including cocktails.
• Warm, friendly and approachable manner, with strong guest interaction.
• Excellent communication and flexibility to adapt to hotel needs.
• Ability to train and lead a team.
• Ability to anticipate guests' needs and adapt accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Lead a bar team and run the show behind the bar to ensure smooth service.
• Coach and train staff, fostering a strong team culture and guest experience.
• Maintain extensive beverage knowledge, including cocktails.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

• 1 + years’ worth of experience as a Bar Supervisor working in hotels, bars, or restaurants.
• Experience managing and training teams, driver a strong team culture and driving a great guest experience.
• Proven knowledge on a range of beverage items, including cocktails.
• Warm, friendly and approachable manor, with the ability to engage with guests.
• Great communication skills, flexibility and can adapt to the hotels needs.
• Can manage and train a team.
• Be able to anticipate the guests needs and be adaptable.
