Job summary

The Old Clare in Sydney is seeking a Bar Supervisor to oversee daily bar operations, lead a front-of-house team, and ensure superb guest experiences in a busy venue.

You will train staff, respond to guest feedback, coordinate with events and other departments, manage stock, and uphold health and safety standards with RSA.

Weekend availability is required, and a collaborative hospitality mindset is essential to thrive in this vibrant setting.

Qualifications

• Past experience as a Bar Attendant and guiding teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• RSA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure high service standards.
• Manage, train and lead the bar team for successful service.
• Act on guest feedback to improve food quality, service and overall satisfaction.
• Coordinate with events supervisor to execute functions across venues.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to maintain 5-star service standards.
• Maintain bar setup, cleanliness, and stock control; ensure health and safety compliance.
