Job summary

Gol Gol Hotel in Gol Gol, NSW, seeks a capable bar supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring fast, friendly service and a welcoming environment for patrons. You will lead, support and coordinate bar staff, provide hands‑on service, operate the POS and handle transactions efficiently.

This role requires compliance with liquor licensing and responsible service, stock control, cleaning and organisation of the bar area, staff onboarding and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar operations to ensure efficient service and a welcoming environment for patrons.
• Lead, support and coordinate bar staff to maintain high standards of service and teamwork.
• Provide hands-on bar service, including preparing and serving beverages, operating the POS system and handling transactions.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing legislation, responsible service requirements and venue policies.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and maintain appropriate stock control.
• Ensure the bar, equipment and service areas are clean, organised and maintained to a high standard.
• Assist with staff training, onboarding and ongoing development.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and escalat*e* issues when required.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a safe environment for staff and patrons.
• Assist with gaming room duties when required, where trained and authorised.
