Norths Devils Leagues Club in Brisbane's northern suburbs is seeking casual hospitality staff to deliver outstanding service across the venue, including bar, dining, and gaming areas.

Roles involve serving drinks and food, handling cash, operating TAB and gaming machines, and maintaining high cleanliness standards while working in a fast-paced team environment. RSA and RSG certificates, police check, and flexible availability are required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) essential.
• RSG certificate (Responsible Service of Gaming) essential.
• QLD Police Check required.

Norths Devils Leagues Club (Devils), situated in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, forms an integral part of the local community. Established for over 50 years, Norths Devils Leagues Club is an important hub for community support and rugby league growth in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. The venue is spaciously designed to incorporate a 240 seat restaurant, versatile function spaces, dedicated sports bar and 93 gaming machines.

We are currently recruiting for the following casual positions throughout the Club:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all patrons have a great experience.

Serve drinks and food in a timely and professional manner.

Operate TAB and/or gaming machines, ensuring all rules and regulations are adhered to.

Handle cash transactions, including the correct handling and payout of money.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas.

Collaborate effectively with team members to provide smooth, efficient service.

Conduct Promotions and Raffles in line with terms and conditions.

Handle customer complaints and queries in a professional and polite manner

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in similar roles in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not essential.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

Knowledge of various types of drinks, cocktail mixing, and the ability to operate a coffee machine preferred, but not essential.

RSA certificate (Responsible Service of Alcohol) essential.

RSG certificate (Responsible Service of Gaming) essential.

QLD Police Check

Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
