Job summary

Ocean Grove Bowling Club in Victoria is seeking a friendly Bar Attendant to join our busy hospitality team. This casual role focuses on delivering great service, preparing and serving beverages, and keeping the bar area clean and well-organised.

You will assist with opening/closing and operate POS systems to ensure smooth service for members and guests. You will need RSA certification, strong customer service and teamwork skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greeting and serving members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operating POS and EFTPOS systems and handling cash transactions.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area.
• Restocking fridges, glassware and bar supplies as required.
• Following all Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements.
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
• Working collaboratively with Duty Managers and other team members.
• Providing consistently high levels of customer service.

We are looking for a friendly, confident and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our team at Ocean Grove Bowling Club.

This casual role is a great opportunity to become part of a busy, welcoming and fast-paced hospitality environment. With previous bar experience necessary, we are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role and provide a high standard of service to our members and guests.

As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages, processing orders and maintaining a clean and professional bar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and serving members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Operating POS and EFTPOS systems and handling cash transactions
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area
• Restocking fridges, glassware and bar supplies as required
• Following all Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements
• Assisting with opening and closing procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:
