Job summary

Vili's Bakery is seeking an Afternoon Packer to join our family-owned operation in Adelaide. You will pack and prepare freshly baked products for sale, delivery or storage, ensuring accuracy and presentation while following Food Safety and GMP standards.

The shift starts at 3:30pm, with a typical 8-hour day and possible Sunday work. We offer stable hours within an established business, with training provided for those new to bakery environments and a supportive team culture.

We're always on the lookout for enthusiastic Production Workers for ongoing casual roles. With over 200 workers structured into 22 specialised teams, and an operational roster over 24 hours, our recruitment needs are constant!

The Role

The Afternoon Packer is responsible for preparing freshly baked products for sale, delivery, or storage. This role involves carefully packing and handling baked goods while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and product presentation. The position requires strict adherence to Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards to ensure all items are packaged correctly and consistently meet the high-quality standards that Vili's is known for.

Hours of Work

Your roster will be Monday to Friday, commencing at 3:30pm. You will work an 8-hour shift or until the required work has been completed. There may also be the option to work every third Sunday.

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and available for full-time hours
• Physically fit for manual handling and working on your feet
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment
• Strong attention to detail, especially with food quality and safety
• Positive team spirit and willingness to learn
• Previous experience in bakery or food manufacturing is highly regarded, but not essential (we'll provide training)
