Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a motivated bakery team leader for our Glenmore store. This permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) reports to the Bakery Manager and will oversee a small team, create rosters, place orders and perform stock takes, while driving store performance.

Ideal candidates have fresh food retail knowledge, strong leadership and a hands-on approach to coaching and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bakery leadership/retail supervision experience preferred
• Fresh food retail knowledge beneficial
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

About this opportunity:

Our Glenmore store is currently looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and driven leader, to join and help lead the store's Bakery department.

Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Fresh food retail knowledge
• Bakery experience is preferred, but not essential
