Job summary

Bovell's Bakery in Western Australia is seeking Bakers and Bakers Assistants to join our manufacturing site. You will work under the Production Manager to ensure bread products are produced safely, on time, and in a cost-effective manner while meeting quality and food safety standards.

This role is not suitable for Students. Roles include full-time, part-time, casual and permanent positions with a team-focused environment and ongoing opportunities to contribute to production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food production environment is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Capable of adapting to changing production requirements.
• Strong knowledge of workplace and food safety (HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Safely operating of bread manufacturing equipment
• Ensuring all HACCP measures are being maintained during shift
• Adjustments in product specification and machine operations to develop a consistent product
• Adhering to food safety procedures and company policies
• Ensuring machines run in an efficient and uninterrupted manner
• Maintaining production waste within acceptable amounts
• Meeting deadlines in a busy work environment
• Keeping timely and accurate records of work activity

Job description

We are a WA owned and operated family baking business supplying a range of bread products to a large number of customers 7 days a week.

We are currently looking for Bakers/Bakers Assistants to join us at our manufacturing site.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work as part of the team to ensure that our bread products are produced in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner that meets stringent quality and food safety standards.

This role is not suitable for Students.
