Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining backend systems using Java and related technologies.
• Proficiency in API development, Service Oriented Architecture, Message Queueing, Event Driven Architecture, Microservices and databases.
• Proven technology experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes.
• A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement.
• A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Highly dedicated ethos with accountability for the work.

Responsibilities

• As a Back-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for development of the software systems that power our business unit.
• You’ll be a hands-on, highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code and deliver high quality, well-designed software.
• You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including reliability, performance and data privacy concerns.
