Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Experience building high-traffic backend applications.
• Working experience with back-end technologies (e.g Java, Spring / Spring Boot) and databases (e.g PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of cloud-native development on platforms such as AWS, including deployment, scaling, and operational considerations.
• Containerisation technology concepts, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and automated testing practices.
• Experience using observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, or similar) to support production systems.
• A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement.
• An understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing.
• A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care.
• Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Edge Delivery Services desirable.
