Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking a confident B2B Field Sales Representative to join our Sydney Inner West/Eastern Suburbs team. You will own an allocated territory, meet small business owners, and build a productive sales pipeline through proactive face-to-face engagement.

You’ll earn a base of $79,500 plus uncapped commission and super, with an OTE of about $99,000. The role is field-based, Monday–Friday, with a tablet provided and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• A current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory).
• Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong objection-handling, negotiation and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approaching small businesses within your allocated territory.
• Engaging business owners and key decision-makers face-to-face.
• Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Generating new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals.
• Presenting Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers.
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Growing Origin's market share within your territory.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
• Delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through to sale.
