Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking a confident B2B Field Sales Representative to own a Southern Gold Coast territory, meeting small business owners face-to-face and turning introductions into real business conversations. This full-time role offers a base salary with uncapped commission, a 9:00-5:30 schedule, a tablet provided, paid training, and ongoing coaching as you build Origin's energy solutions pipeline.

You will engage decision-makers, achieve sales targets and contribute to growing Origin's share

• Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded).

Retail Safari, part of Strikeforce, is looking for confident and motivated Business Sales Representatives to represent Origin Energy and connect face-to-face with local businesses.

This is a genuine new-business field sales role. You'll own an allocated territory, meet small business owners and decision-makers, create your own opportunities and build a pipeline through proactive face-to-face engagement.

If you enjoy being out on the road, talking to people and seeing a direct connection between your effort and your earnings, this could be a great next move.

Start date flexible for the right candidate.

• $74,500 base salary + uncapped commission + super (OTE $99,000 + super)

About the role:

Reporting to Sales Team Leader, as an Origin Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth across your allocated territory by identifying new opportunities and helping small businesses find the right energy solutions for their needs.

This is a fulltime field based role.

You'll be responsible for:

• Proactively approaching small businesses within your allocated territory
• Engaging business owners and key decision-makers face-to-face
• Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline
• Generating new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
• Presenting Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Growing Origin's market share within your territory
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
• Delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through to sale

About you

We're looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of winning new business.

You are:

• Confident speaking with people face-to-face
• Enjoy proactive selling rather than waiting for leads
• Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission
• Comfortable working independently in a field environment
• Have strong objection-handling, negotiation and closing skills
• Energetic, proactive, and self-driven
• Organised with strong communication skills

To be successful, you will need:

• A current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
