Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group is seeking a Technical Lead to steer day-to-day software engineering across our development team, owning full-stack delivery on our Azure-based booking platforms (B2C, B2E, B2B). You will make autonomous technical decisions and collaborate with the Head of Engineering and Solution Architect to align delivery with architecture standards.

In this senior hands-on role, you will deliver across React/TypeScript and .NET on Azure, maintain the Azure platform, drive API

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Technical Lead or similar role delivering high-quality software.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control.
• Strong REST API, integration, and API lifecycle management experience.
• Expertise in EF, SQL, data modelling, and OOP principles.
• Desirable: Dynamics 365 BC, test automation, observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on full-stack engineering across B2X applications (React/TypeScript, .NET on Azure).
• Maintain and operate the Azure platform to ensure security and reliability.
• Build integrations between applications and APIs for dynamic booking functionality.
• Lead adoption of AI-powered engineering tools and set coding standards.
• Provide technical leadership in agile teams with peer reviews for quality.
• Apply best practices for scalability, performance and security including PCI and data privacy.
