Job summary

Arinco is seeking an experienced Azure engineer to provide Level 3 support for managed services customers, delivering Azure enhancements, maintaining security postures, and building reliable IaC pipelines at scale.

You will work with Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, and GitHub, participate in on-call rotations, and help modernise customer environments while engaging with customers and colleagues to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of Azure Networking including enterprise design patterns, landing zones and hub-spoke networking.
• Experience with IaC — primarily Bicep, and/or Terraform.
• Scripting or automation experience in PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 3 support to managed services customers, covering Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfilment, Event Management and Monitoring
• Participate in a paid on-call/after-hours on a rotating roster for Major Incidents
• Deliver Azure enhancement, build and development services to customers
• Identify and implement uplift and modernisation opportunities in customer environments
• Apply an automate-first approach to improve reliability at scale
• Build, configure and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, GitHub and Git-based branching workflows
• Harden the security posture of customer environments
• Perform and automate FinOps and security posture reporting, and implement the recommendations that come out of it
• Use AI tooling to automate repetitive tasks, improve the consistency and quality of our services, and free up time for higher-value work
• Attend customer meetings (sometimes onsite) and drive outcomes
