Job summary

Arinco is seeking a technically skilled Azure-focused engineer to provide L3 support for managed services across Australia and New Zealand. You will deliver Azure enhancements, build IaC pipelines, and lead security and FinOps improvements while engaging with customers on site or remotely.

You will work with Azure core infra, networking, Defender, Monitor, and CI/CD tooling, and contribute to a proactive, growth‑oriented team culture that values practical, scalable AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and networking.
• Familiar with IaC and automation tools (Bicep, Terraform).
• Proficient in PowerShell and DevOps practices for CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 3 support to managed services customers, covering Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfilment, Event Management and Monitoring
• Participate in a paid on-call/after-hours on a rotating roster for Major Incidents
• Deliver Azure enhancement, build and development services to customers
• Identify and implement uplift and modernisation opportunities in customer environments
• Apply an automate-first approach to improve reliability at scale
• Build, configure and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, GitHub and Git-based branching workflows
• Harden the security posture of customer environments
• Perform and automate FinOps and security posture reporting, and implement the recommendations that come out of it
• Use AI tooling to automate repetitive tasks, improve the consistency and quality of our services, and free up time for higher-value work
• Attend customer meetings (sometimes onsite) and drive outcomes
