Job summary

Avanade is seeking a DevOps Support Engineer to provide day-to-day support across Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and cloud environments for client projects in Australia.

You will work with business and technology stakeholders to resolve deployment issues, translate requests into concrete actions, develop simple automation, create deployment guides, and help safeguard environment reliability and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with deployment automation and release support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day DevOps support across client environments, including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Analyze issues and translate them into actionable support tasks, automation updates, and configuration changes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, pipeline templates, and IaC modules.
• Create deployment guides, test plans, and support runbooks for clients and internal teams.
• Support governance processes, SLA commitments, and knowledge management.
