Job summary

XPT Software is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer with 15+ years of experience to deliver, support and enhance enterprise infrastructure across Azure, hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments. The role focuses on hands‑on Azure IaaS/PaaS, virtualization, networking, identity, security and governance, with a strong emphasis on automation using Terraform, Bicep and Azure DevOps.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS including VMs, storage, app services, networking, identity, backup and DR.

Job description

• Senior Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer with 15+ years of experience delivering, supporting and improving enterprise infrastructure across Azure, hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong hands-on experience across Azure IaaS and PaaS, including Virtual Machines, Storage, App Services, networking, identity, backup, disaster recovery and platform services.
• Designed, implemented and supported Azure networking including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, DNS, routing, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, VNet Peering, ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, identity governance and hybrid identity integration.
• Supported enterprise Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune and hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Managed and supported business‑critical Azure infrastructure environments, balancing BAU operational support, incident resolution, change management and infrastructure project delivery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability across cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, Windows/Linux and application connectivity, including L3 escalation and root cause analysis.
• Delivered infrastructure projects from design and planning through implementation, production transition and operational support.
• Implemented Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, PowerShell and Python.
• Implemented monitoring, alerting and operational visibility using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights and Splunk, improving service reliability and reducing MTTR.
• Supported infrastructure security and optimisation initiatives using Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, RBAC, Private Endpoints and security governance controls.
• Led and supported migrations of enterprise workloads from on‑premises environments to Azure using Azure Migrate, Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Worked collaboratively with application, infrastructure, security and business teams, technology partners and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and deliver infrastructure outcomes.
• Experienced in ITIL‑based environments covering Incident, Problem, Change, Major Incident and CAB processes using ServiceNow.
• Provided technical leadership during architecture reviews, major incidents and cloud platform uplift activities.

• I have deployed many cluster by traditional azure devops pipelines and new pipeline as code with multistage.
• Installed and maintained firewall solutions and collaborated with security vendors to ensure best practices and software updates were followed consistently.
