Job summary

XPT Software Australia PTY Ltd is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to lead enterprise Azure environments, including hybrid cloud and on-premises setups. You will design, implement and support networks, IAM, and platform services while collaborating across security, application and data teams.

You will drive automation via IaC, CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices, delivering reliable infrastructure for AI, analytics and digital services with strong incident response

Qualifications

• Senior Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer with 15+ years of experience delivering, supporting and improving enterprise infrastructure across Azure, hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Designed, implemented and supported Azure networking including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, DNS, routing, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, VNet Peering, ExpressRoute and hybrid connectivity.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, identity governance and hybrid identity integration.
• Supported enterprise Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune and hybrid Microsoft environments.
• Managed and supported business-critical Azure infrastructure environments, balancing BAU operational support, incident resolution, change management and infrastructure project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines as code for enterprise customers.
• Acted as L3 escalation point for major incidents, coordinating with infrastructure, application, and vendor teams to restore services quickly and minimise business impact.
• Created design doc and helped the architect from the devops perspective.
• Created many instances of webapps with VNET peering for traffic and function apps for triggers and serverless.
• Designed and implemented enterprise DevOps pipelines supporting application integration, API deployment, Infrastructure as Code and multi-stage release automation.
• Collaborated with software developers, data engineers, security teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure cloud platforms supporting AI, analytics and digital services.
• I have created many pipelines of Azure and deployed to AKS.
• I have deployed many cluster by traditional azure devops pipelines and new pipeline as code with multistage.
• Installed and maintained firewall solutions and collaborated with security vendors to ensure best practices and software updates were followed consistently.
