Job summary

The Network is seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support a major digital transformation within a Federal Government department. You will deploy, maintain and improve Azure infrastructure in a secure cloud environment and work with delivery teams to modernise cloud services.

You will design IaC with Bicep/ARM, build Azure DevOps pipelines and manage identity, security and performance. Australian Government experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS, Functions, Web Apps, Storage and integration services.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, service principals and Azure API Management.
• Proven experience with Azure infrastructure migration, maintenance and optimisation.
• Strong capability with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Bicep and/or ARM templates.
• Understanding of Azure networking, cloud security, monitoring and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure within a secure landing zone.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and ARM templates.
• Build and support Azure DevOps CI/CD YAML pipelines for automated infrastructure deployments.
• Manage Azure identity, access, security, patching and infrastructure performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues and support cloud migration activities.
