Job summary

IT Alliance seeks a Senior Cloud Architect / Cloud Engineer (EL1) for a long-term contract in Canberra. The role requires hands-on Azure expertise across architecture, services, security and governance, with agile delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years hands-on Azure Cloud experience implementing and managing enterprise cloud solutions.
Azure architecture & solution design for enterprise-level platforms.
Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, SQL, Service Bus, API Management.
Proficient in Azure DevOps, IaC and CI/CD pipelines/deployments.
Identity & Security with Entra ID, Key Vault, and RBAC.
Azure Networking with Virtual Networks and Private Endpoints.
Monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Integration with Dynamics 365 CRM.
Experience with M365 cloud architecture.
Security governance aligned with government standards.
Ability to lead technical direction and mentor engineers.
Agile delivery in multidisciplinary teams; strong stakeholder engagement.
