Job summary

AC3, a Canberra-based government-focused technology partner, is seeking an Azure Cloud Architect eligible to obtain a baseline security clearance. The role can be Canberra-based with hybrid work or remote within Australia.

You will design enterprise cloud architectures for MS Azure and M365, craft cloud-based solutions, guide engineers, ensure compliance with government standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or equivalent
• Experience in Azure cloud services including App Services, Functions, Logic Apps and SQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps, IaC and CI/CD deployments
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Key Vault, Monitor and Application Insights
• Experience integrating with Dynamics 365 CRM and working in Agile environments
• Australian citizen eligible to obtain baseline security clearance

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect eligible to obtain a baseline security clearance to work for a large Government Agency based in Canberra (preferred) or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise level cloud platform architectures for MS Azure and M365;
• Develop high level solution architectures for cloud-based systems;
• Develop detailed architecture guidance for cloud engineers;
• Ensure government standards are followed;
• Liaise with a cross-functional teams including business owners, scrum masters, business analysts, developers, enterprise architects & testers to produce solutions in accordance with stakeholder requirements and project objectives;
• Provide expertise and assistance in platform automation – testing, continuous integration and deployment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working as a Cloud Architect or relevant experiences
• Experience in Cloud-based solution design and implementation, with technologies such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management
• Experience with Azure DevOps for code development, management, repositories, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD deployments, Azure Networking and IAM systems.
• Good knowledge across Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Experience with integration with other systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
• Experience working in Agile environments
