Job summary

Versent is seeking a driven Microsoft Azure & AI Sales Specialist to lead customer growth across Azure, Azure AI, Copilot and GitHub. This high-impact role focuses on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and guiding customers from initial conversations to successful outcomes.

You will partner with Microsoft and Telstra, shape opportunities, and own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract signature, collaborating with presales, engineering and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology sales with a cloud/Microsoft focus.
• Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing relationships.
• Experience selling Azure, AI, cloud or enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and pipeline management.
• Ability to engage technical teams, business stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing Microsoft CSP relationships.
• Identify, qualify and close Azure, Azure AI, Copilot and GitHub opportunities.
• Build executive relationships with customers, Microsoft and Telstra stakeholders.
• Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to contract signature.
• Lead commercial discussions, proposals, negotiations and deal strategy.
• Collaborate with presales, engineering and delivery teams to shape solutions.
• Contribute to Microsoft's growth across cloud, AI and modern applications.
