Job summary

Amazon is seeking an AWS Incident Response Team Analyst for the Physical Security Operations Centre in Australia. You will be the frontline defender of critical cloud infrastructure, coordinating guards, monitoring access systems, and gathering intelligence to protect assets across the region.

This hands-on role requires decisive action and a commitment to national security objectives. You will develop SOPs, manage vendor guard operations, and ensure incident response is timely and effective.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security best practices including application of physical security systems, investigation techniques, management of contract security guards and incident management.
• Experience communicating clearly with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years experience in Physical Security Operation Centre monitoring and response.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for PSOC.
• Monitor physical access control systems and administer access permissions.
• Oversee contracted guard forces and coordinate incident response across the region.
• Gather intelligence and distribute program-wide notifications to stakeholders.
• Draft SOP improvements and provide technical support to internal teams.
• Triage trouble tickets and manage internal/external communications.
