Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Incident Response Engineer to help customers respond to security incidents and automate security operations at cloud scale. You will work with AWS service teams to build threat detection and incident response capabilities across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years scripting, programming, and security code review experience.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or 2+ years IT security experience.
• Experience troubleshooting systems, analyzing logs, or automating tasks using CLI.
• Experience in security areas: incident response, cloud security, threat modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee incident response operations.
• Earn trust of customer stakeholders before, during, and after a security event.
• Independently contribute to teams to build and deploy threat detection and incident response capabilities.
• Design, build, and deploy automation for security operations and incident response on AWS.
• Mentor consultants, partners, and customers to raise the bar for our customers.
• On-call required.
