Job summary

Accenture Melbourne is hiring a software developer to own and lead microservice development within a wider team. You\'ll work in an agile environment, contributing to PoCs, prototypes, and client-ready assets with Accenture’s Liquid Studios.

You'll collaborate across the global network, share best practices, and interact with client and internal stakeholders. The role requires hands-on coding in NodeJS/Python/GoLang, AWS, and a strong automation mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience as a software developer in NodeJS, Python or GoLang.
• Hands-on with serverless technologies (Lambda).
• NoSQL experience with DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Experience with queuing, streaming and notification tech (Kinesis, SQS, Kafka).
• Experience with API services (API Gateway, Kong, Apigee).
• Hands-on with DevOps tools and AWS services.
• Experience with AWS environments and services.
• Strong understanding of microservices principles and frameworks.
• Scripting and ability to develop AWS environments as code.
• Automation mindset with evidence of it in past work.
• Experience with cloud automation tooling (CFn, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins).
• Must have at least 1 AWS Associate or Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the development of microservices as part of a wider team
• Work and participate in an agile team environment including ceremonies
• Develop PoCs, prototypes, demonstrations and assets and collaborate with Accenture’s Liquid Studios.
• Always learning and sharing ideas and concepts with the client and Accenture teams.
• Work with Accenture’s global network to bring best practices and assets to local market
• Interact with management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
