Job summary

NTT Data is seeking an experienced AWS Technical Lead to drive delivery of enterprise‑scale cloud transformation, migration and remediation programs across complex AWS environments. This is a hands‑on leadership role with close collaboration among cloud engineers, architects, security teams and stakeholders.

You will shape technical direction, lead engineering teams, and deliver secure, scalable and highly automated AWS solutions across multiple cloud initiatives in a Sydney-based hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands on AWS engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience with CloudFormation, automation and scripting (Python or Bash).
• Strong AWS networking expertise including VPCs, routing, segmentation and hybrid connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AWS solutions across complex multi-account environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to cloud engineering teams.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks and GitOps practices.
• Lead AWS networking, security and governance activities.
• Facilitate technical workshops and provide guidance on architecture, risk and delivery decisions.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, networking and security issues.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes across cloud projects.
• Support stakeholders with trusted technical advice and practical recommendations.

NTT Data is seeking an experienced AWS Technical Lead to drive the delivery of enterprise scale cloud transformation, migration and remediation programs across complex AWS environments.

• Initial 6 month contract
• Sydney CBD - hybrid work arrangements on offer

This is a hands on leadership role where you'll work closely with cloud engineers, architects, security teams and key stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and highly automated AWS solutions.

You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, leading engineering teams, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes across multiple cloud initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements

• Extensive hands on AWS engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering experience

• Strong AWS networking expertise including VPCs, routing, segmentation and hybrid connectivity
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
• Strong AWS security and governance experience
• Experience working within enterprise AWS environments
• Proven ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands on technically
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem solving skills
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional Certification
• AWS Advanced Networking or Security certifications
• Terraform Certification
• Experience within Financial Services highly regarded
