Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications and Access Control Analyst (Assistant Vice President) in Sydney. The role develops expertise in assessing and analyzing access requests, ensuring procedures are followed, and coordinating with business and tech teams to deliver secure access solutions.

The position emphasizes risk-aware decision-making, data integrity, and potential automation of manual tasks, with hybrid work and exposure to Citi's global technology practices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills desirable.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Scripting or programming language skills are a nice to have.
• Any previous process improvements or automation experience would be a plus.
• Prior experience in Markets is preferred.
• Administration knowledge of Iress trading systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Business, production support and application development teams to perform activity requests.
• Ensure activities follow established procedures and approvals; maintain records.
• Manage specific tasks and ensure closure through stakeholder coordination.
• Prepare reports from applications as appropriate.
• Handle user entitlements, account creation and time-sensitive changes for in-house and vendor apps.
• Review and suggest process improvements to streamline daily activities.
• Develop plans to automate manual touchpoints.
• Assist in assembling facts for escalation to senior team members when needed.
• Periodically review policies and procedures for assigned systems.
• Communicate concisely and adapt to diverse audiences; work flexible hours if required.
• Assess risk in business decisions to protect Citigroup, clients and assets.
