Citi in Sydney seeks a Senior Application Programmer to drive design, development and deployment of cash equities applications. You will work across the SDLC, gathering requirements, coding and performing testing in coordination with global technology teams.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Java experience, strong Linux and database skills, knowledge of FIX protocol and microservices, and is comfortable collaborating with remote teams across time zones. Full-time role with Citi.
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of Java development experience with strong Linux and database skills.
- Experience with stock market trading, FIX protocol, and front/middle office systems.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and modern SDLC practices.
Mansioni
- Develop and maintain a suite of Cash Equities applications.
- Design solutions, coordinate delivery, and investigate production incidents.
- Engage in all SDLC phases from requirements to deployment and testing.
- Collaborate with local and global technology teams and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with Citi policies and risk management standards.
