Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications & Access Control Analyst, Associate Vice President, in the Greater Sydney area. The role focuses on assessing and processing application-related requests, coordinating with business, production support, and development teams, and maintaining access controls.

The analyst will review policies annually, automate manual work where possible, and support risk management and escalations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills desirable.
• Scripting, programming, process improvement or automation experience advantageous.
• Familiarity with financial markets advantageous.
• Experience administering trading systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process application-related requests in line with procedures.
• Coordinate with business, production support, and development teams.
• Verify approvals and maintain records of access and changes.
• Manage user access, account creation, and time‑sensitive limit changes.
• Prepare application reports and track progress to completion.
• Review system policies and procedures annually and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with escalations, apply sound judgment to manage risk, and report control issues.
