Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Applications and Access Control Analyst to assess and analyze requests, manage user entitlements, and ensure compliance with established procedures.

The role interfaces with business units, production support, and development teams to deliver timely, accurate access controls and reporting. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (desirable).
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Scripting or programming language skills is a nice to have.
• Any previous process improvements or automation experience would be a plus.
• Prior experience in Markets is preferred.
• Administration knowledge of Iress trading systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with Business, production support and application development teams to perform activity requests.
• Ensure activities follow established procedures and approvals are recorded.
• Manages specific tasks and coordinate with stakeholders for successful closure.
• Prepares reports from applications where appropriate.
• Manage user entitlements, account creation, and time-sensitive limit changes for internal and vendor applications.
• Suggest process improvements to streamline daily activities.
• Devise a plan to automate manual touch points.
• Assist in assembling facts for escalation issues to senior team members.
• Perform annual review of policies and procedures for assigned systems.
• Communicate information concisely and consider audience diversity.
• Work flexible hours when demanded by market events.
• Impact limited to own team; no supervisory responsibilities.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold firm reputation, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
