Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Technical Director – Aviation to join the Perth Aviation and Pavements team, leading the WA aviation practice and shaping growth across the region. You will provide strategic direction, lead high-profile projects and mentor a team of engineers and professionals.

With 15+ years in engineering and strong aviation project experience, you will drive client relationships, maintain regulatory knowledge (CASA MOS 139, ICAO Annex 14) and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; chartered status preferred.
Minimum 15 years in engineering with aviation sector experience.
Proven lead on airport/aviation infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of CASA MOS 139 and ICAO Annex 14.
Ability to obtain ASIC.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Perth airside team with technical and delivery leadership.
Drive Perth Airport strategic opportunities and integrated client propositions.
Expand WA mining leadership and growth with resources clients.
Contribute to aviation service lines with technical input and capability development.
Build relationships with aviation clients, partners and stakeholders across WA.
Identify strategic market opportunities to grow GHD Aviation.
Elevate GHD's profile in the aviation sector through client engagement.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Champion technical excellence and continuous improvement.
