Job summary
AECOM Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Aviation Team Lead to spearhead the growth and delivery of our Aviation services from our Brisbane office. This leadership role focuses on the Queensland market, managing projects for international and regional airports and the ADF/NZDF airfields while supporting broader ANZ teams.
The role requires 15+ years in airside engineering, proven leadership, and deep knowledge of CASA, FAA, IATA and ICAO standards.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in airside infrastructure engineering design and aviation pavement design.
- Experience with commercial airports and/or Defence sector requirements.
- Proven track record of leading a technical delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for Queensland aviation work.
- Lead proposals, tenders, and expressions of interest for aviation projects.
- Oversee successful and profitable delivery of complex aviation projects on time and budget.
- Collaborate with Civil, Electrical and Structural leads to integrate inputs.
- Provide PM oversight for ANZ office-delivered projects and drive technical excellence.
