Job summary

GHD is seeking a Technical Director – Aviation in Perth to lead the WA aviation business, drive technical excellence and grow client relationships across the region. You will oversee the Perth airside team, provide delivery leadership and shape opportunities within WA and nationally.

This senior role requires 15+ years in engineering with aviation discipline, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to mentor multidisciplinary teams while expanding GHD's aviation capability in Western

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
15+ years of engineering experience with significant aviation sector exposure.
Demonstrated leadership of aviation projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of aviation standards and regulatory requirements (CASA MOS 139, ICAO Annex 14).
Ability to obtain ASIC and build trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead Perth airside team and deliver technical, project and delivery leadership.
Own WA aviation growth initiatives and integrate with national capability.
Develop client relationships and pursue strategic opportunities for GHD's Aviation business.
Contribute to priority pursuits with technical input and capability development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated aviation solutions.
