Job summary

RP Infrastructure (RPI) is seeking a seasoned Project Director or Associate Director for Brisbane aviation, leading major airport projects and programs in a collaborative, national aviation leadership context.

The role blends hands-on project leadership with developing people, strengthening client relationships and growing our aviation business in Queensland. You will mentor teams and contribute to knowledge sharing across the national practice.

Qualifications

• Lead complex major building or infrastructure projects with delivery accountability.
• Experience with clients with complex structures and multiple decision makers.
• Experience leading design consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing and developing project professionals.
• Commercial judgement and ability to identify client needs and build relationships.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation projects from planning through construction and completion.
• Establish delivery strategies, governance, budgets, programs and reporting.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across interfaces and commercial arrangements.
• Navigate client organisations, engage stakeholders to align priorities and decisions.
• Mentor Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
• Contribute to national aviation knowledge and growth.
• Identify opportunities and support business growth.
