Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Project Technical Lead to serve as the technical authority across a portfolio of critical infrastructure projects. You will define and govern technical requirements, lead systems engineering activities and provide expert advice throughout the lifecycle.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers and suppliers, to deliver complex projects that support national operations.

Qualifications

• Systems Engineering principles across project lifecycle.
• Commissioning management experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery, design reviews, testing and deployment in complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management with vendors, suppliers and technical SMEs.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation, requirements specs and system design docs.
• Implement system integration, testing, commissioning and operational acceptance activities.
• Understanding of risk management, change control and configuration management processes.
• Ability to influence technical outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities, technical reviews, testing and acceptance processes with expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, suppliers and operational stakeholders to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
• Join Built Environment Facilities and Fleet team to support Airservices' national operations and deliver safe, reliable aviation services.
