Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Project Technical Lead to drive the technical delivery of national infrastructure programs. You will act as the engineering authority, govern requirements, engage with project managers, engineers and suppliers, and lead system engineering activities across the project lifecycle.

You will join the Built Environment Facilities and Fleet team, delivering complex projects to ensure safe and reliable aviation services across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Systems Engineering across project lifecycles.
• Experience in requirements management and design management.
• Experience leading commissioning, testing, verification and deployment in infrastructure projects.
• Ability to influence technical outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with vendors, suppliers and SMEs.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and design specifications.
• Understanding of risk management, change control and configuration processes.
• Proven ability to drive technical excellence in regulated environments.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure programs in aviation or utilities.
• Ability to manage multiple streams and deliver safe, high-standard outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of a portfolio of critical infrastructure projects.
• Act as the technical authority for defined programs and ensure governance of requirements, design and deployment.
• Conduct technical reviews, testing and acceptance activities across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, suppliers and operational stakeholders.
• Provide expert technical direction to influence project outcomes and ensure safety and reliability.
