Job summary

Alliance Airlines is seeking an experienced Flight Operations Performance Engineer to join our Flight Operations Engineering Department in a highly specialised role. You will ensure aircraft performance compliance across the fleet and provide expert analysis, technical guidance, and operational support to Flight Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical Engineering.
• Extensive experience within a Flight Operations Engineering Department supporting transport category airline operations.
• Strong understanding of CASA regulations and aviation operational requirements.
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting aircraft performance activities across a transport category airline environment.
• Producing, reviewing and quality assuring aircraft performance data in accordance with CASA and CASR Part 121 requirements.
• Conducting aircraft performance, airport capability and payload/range analysis to support operational and commercial objectives.
• Monitoring AIS publications, aeronautical information and NOTAMs to assess operational impacts.
• Developing and maintaining aircraft performance manuals, procedures and controlled documentation.
• Administering and supporting Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) applications and associated operational systems.
• Delivering training in aircraft performance and weight and balance to flight crew and operational personnel.
• Collaborating effectively with flight operations, engineering teams, regulators, aircraft manufacturers and other external stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems and technologies relating to aircraft performance data management and distribution.
