Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to design, develop and implement sophisticated aerospace systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 4+ years’ experience in a related field
• Experience with DOORS
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Familiarity with DoD programs and processes
• Advanced knowledge of the systems development lifecycle
• Self-motivated with initiative

Responsibilities

• Perform numeric evaluation of product design, integration, and qualification activities for new inertial navigation products
• Evaluate sensor & system performance using metrics like Root Allan Variance
• Lead trade studies and issue resolution activities (FMEA, RCCA)
• Prepare, review, approve, and present technical documentation
• Function as technical focal with internal customers for new product development
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software)
• Support system design team meetings (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs)
• Perform requirement analysis and feasibility assessments
• Create system documents including System Requirements, ICD, HRS, and VVT Plan
