Job summary

James Cook University in North Queensland (Cairns Nguma-bada Campus) seeks a Digital Spaces Engineer to deliver and support AV and collaboration technologies across learning, teaching and staff spaces.

The role requires configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting AV systems, contributing to project delivery, testing and improvements, with a 36.25-hour week and a salary range of $90,821 to $98,369 plus up to 17% employer super.

Qualifications

• A degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting AV, videoconferencing or collaboration technologies.
• Knowledge of AV control systems and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support the performance of digital and physical spaces through AV implementation, configuration and maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex AV issues delivering high-quality customer service.
• Contribute to AV projects through testing, commissioning and implementation activities.
• Identify recurring issues and support service improvements.
• Assist in design and enhancement of AV solutions.
