You are an experienced educational design professional with a passion for enhancing learning and teaching through innovative, inclusive and technology-enhanced educational practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a demonstrated ability to partner with educators and stakeholders to co-design and co-develop engaging curriculum, learning experiences and assessment that support student success.
Drawing on your expertise in curriculum development, pedagogy, assessment design, learning technology integration and evidence-informed decision making, you provide high-level advice and support to educators to create impactful learning experiences for diverse learners across a range of disciplines and delivery modes.
You will bring extensive experience in learning design, contemporary educational technologies and inclusive teaching practices, with the ability to apply evidence-based approaches and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to improve curriculum quality and student outcomes. Your project management capability, scholarly mindset and collaborative approach will enable you to lead complex curriculum and assessment initiatives while contributing to JCU's learning and teaching scholarship.
With exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you will build productive partnerships across the University and play a key role in advancing innovative educational practices that support JCU's strategic learning and teaching priorities.
It is a requirement of this position to undertake travel and/or attend conferences deemed necessary to the advancement and success of learning and teaching at James Cook University.
