Job summary

Compnow, a leading Australian technology provider, is seeking an AV Commissioner to finalise configuration, testing and handover of integrated audiovisual and unified communications solutions. Working with Project Managers, Engineers, Programmers and customers, you’ll ensure every solution performs exactly as designed and delivers an exceptional user experience.

You’ll bring experience commissioning or troubleshooting AV systems, strong knowledge of displays, audio, video and control systems,

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning, configuring or troubleshooting integrated audiovisual systems.
• Strong knowledge of AV technologies including displays, audio, video and control systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and project documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to testing and fault finding.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Commission, configure and validate integrated AV and unified communications systems.
• Test audio, video, control, conferencing and collaboration solutions against project requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve configuration, installation, network and system performance issues.
• Complete commissioning documentation, defect registers and handover records.
• Support customer demonstrations, acceptance testing, training and project handovers.

What you’ll do?

As an AV Commissioner, you'll be responsible for the final configuration, testing, validation and handover of integrated audiovisual and unified communications solutions. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Programmers and customers, you'll ensure every solution performs exactly as designed and delivers an exceptional user experience.

• Commission, configure and validate integrated AV and unified communications systems.
• Test audio, video, control, conferencing and collaboration solutions against project requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve configuration, installation, network and system performance issues.
• Complete commissioning documentation, defect registers and handover records.
• Support customer demonstrations, acceptance testing, training and project handovers.

What you’ll bring?

What else do you need to apply?

• Travel on-site to our office in Alexandria and client sites around Sydney.
• Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.

Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
