Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Product Support Engineers to join the Dive-XL team, supporting the Extraordinary Large Autonomous Undersea Vehicles (AUVs). The role includes on-call support, root-cause investigations, and driving engineering changes across fleets.

Applicants should have hands-on hardware experience, strong judgement under pressure, and the ability to communicate findings to engineers and non-engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic or systems engineering on complex systems.
• Ability to independently root cause difficult, ambiguous faults from limited data.
• Hands-on experience with real hardware in an operational environment.
• Sound engineering judgement under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call engineering support to the teams operating and maintaining fielded AUVs, including outside business hours on a rotating roster.
• Lead root cause investigations to a defensible conclusion across design, production, maintenance or operation.
• Drive changes through design teams and maintain fleet-wide system limitations.
• Develop monitoring, alerting and diagnostic tooling to surface issues early.
