Job summary

Hedley Scott Recruitment presents an opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager at a well-established accounting practice in Sydney. You will own the internal finance function, administration, systems, payroll, compliance coordination and general operational support, enabling Partners to focus on clients and growth.

The role involves hands-on management of APS/MYOB, HR duties, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Practice Manager, Office Manager or senior administrator in accounting/public practice.
• Familiarity with APS and/or MYOB practice management software.
• Experience managing internal finance, billing, WIP, debtors and credit control.
• Knowledge of ASIC and ATO administrative processes and lodgements.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the firm's internal finance function and back-office operations.
• Manage payroll, superannuation, leave administration, onboarding and HR administration.
• Oversee office administration, supplier relationships and日 day-to-day operational requirements.
• Coordinate ASIC and ATO lodgements and AML/CTF compliance processes.
